Multi-omics approaches (genomics, transcriptomics, epigenomics, proteomics, metabolomics, etc) provide systematic ways to deconvolute complex disease biology from different perspectives. Single cell technology has significantly improved our understanding of heterogeneous cell populations and the microenvironment in disease states. Integrated analysis of multi-omic and single cell data has emerged as a powerful tool to understand disease biology and improve precision medicine.
